I created the foundation required for profitable scale.
Catalog architecture, variation strategy, listings, and launch readiness came first. Advertising expanded as the foundation became ready to support profitable growth.

Proven Amazon results / 2015–today
Mike Matican / Amazon advertising & growth systems
I’ve built Amazon channels from $0 to eight figures, scaled established Amazon brands, and created the systems that keep $14M+ in annual ad spend driving profitable, incremental growth.
A CAREER-BEST YEAR, BY THE NUMBERS
During my strongest year, I managed $4.61M in Amazon ad spend and generated $29.1M in attributed revenue, delivering a 6.3x ROAS across a diverse portfolio of brands.
EXPERIENCE, BY THE NUMBERS
01 / Built from the ground up
Deco TV FramesStarting with no listings, reviews, or sales, I built Deco’s Amazon strategy, catalog, and advertising engine, scaling the channel into an eight-figure Amazon business.
Catalog architecture, variation strategy, listings, and launch readiness came first. Advertising expanded as the foundation became ready to support profitable growth.
I know these numbers seem bonkers, but I assure you they're real. I managed advertising, inventory, ranking, and launches. From 2022 to 2023, average order value also increased 32.3%.
Deco reached eight figures in annual Amazon revenue in under five years while ACoS remained at or below 13% as the business scaled.
02 / Multi-year growth
WHAT DO YOU MEME?Ad-attributed sales more than doubled and ROAS improved 16.7% while I led the Seller Central to Vendor Central migration and rebuilt the PPC architecture from the ground up.
I expanded campaign coverage across the portfolio and aligned investment with ranking, product launches, and monthly budget priorities, delivering the first of two consecutive years of seven-figure growth.
Annual unit sales grew by six figures while impressions increased by hundreds of millions.
The entire PPC structure was rebuilt during the Seller Central to Vendor Central migration, while more than doubling two year ad-attributed sales.
03 / NEW-TO-BRAND TRANSFORMATION
VEGA + GREAT LAKES WELLNESS / ACQUISITION AT SCALEVega was down roughly 20% YTD, while GLW’s strong ROAS masked declining new-to-brand orders. When the mandate shifted from efficiency first to aggressive customer acquisition, I made NTB growth the priority, built it into annual planning, and accepted deliberate efficiency tradeoffs when they unlocked incremental demand.
I built the annual Sponsored Ads and DSP plan across brands, markets, funnel stages, and major retail events. As performance signals emerged, I adjusted pacing and redirected investment toward the strongest NTB acquisition opportunities.
I shifted investment across channels, funnel stages, and targeting strategies based on acquisition performance. GLW’s consideration NTB rate increased 63% and its conversion NTB rate more than tripled, while Vega delivered 76% growth in NTB purchases and 66% growth in NTB product sales.
Vega’s H2 gross sales increased 56% year over year and ad sales rose 39%. GLW’s H2 gross sales increased 25% and ad sales grew 21%. Full-year sales finished 16% higher for Vega and 32% higher for GLW.
04 / NEWPORT VESSELS / EFFICIENCY AT SCALE
This was not a growth at all costs account. Every campaign and product launch had to clear strict profitability thresholds, and I expanded the program while maintaining ACoS between 7% and 8%.

05 / 2015 / WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
RageOn was the first proof. Then my own brand was the next. Both started from zero and taught me how to turn an empty Amazon account into a working revenue channel.
I launched RageOn’s Amazon channel and did $40K in month one, followed by consistent 30% MoM growth.
After RageOn, I built my own Amazon business to more than $30K in monthly revenue. It taught me what it means to own every decision, constraint, and result.
“Mike started this business and grew it to $31K like it was nothing. This guy really knows Amazon. 10/10, would hire again.”

06 / AGENTIC AMAZON OPERATIONS
I combine more than a decade of Amazon operating experience with agents, APIs, and automation to remove repetitive work from the business. The systems do the work while humans retain approval over consequential decisions.
Automate the repetition.Keep the judgment human.
Reviews + search terms → listing recommendations
Finds positive review themes and proven search terms to strengthen listing content.
Checks whether valuable customer language and search terms are already represented.
Prepares titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search-term recommendations.
Nothing publishes until the proposed changes are reviewed.
Issue intake + evidence → case managed to resolution
Gathers the ASIN, SKU, error details, screenshots, case history, supporting documents, and relevant policy references.
Creates a clear, structured submission using the required evidence, terminology, and account context.
Tracks Amazon’s responses, identifies what is needed next, and drafts routine replies to keep the case moving.
Flags policy risk, contradictory guidance, or missing information that requires judgment before proceeding.
Marketplace monitoring → issue detected and diagnosed
Watches for suppressions, content changes, missing attributes, broken variations, and Buy Box issues by comparing live listings with the approved catalog state.
Determines whether the issue stems from content, compliance, contribution ownership, inventory, or catalog structure.
Drafts the required catalog update, support case, or escalation and assigns it to the appropriate team or owner.
Monitors progress, keeps the task open, and verifies that the listing returns to its intended state.
Automate the repetition.Keep the judgment human.
07 / THE SYSTEM BEHIND THE RESULTS
The brands change. The challenges change. Across a decade of launches, account rebuilds, multi-million-dollar budgets, and major transitions, I’ve built systems for identifying what matters. Making better decisions faster, and turning complex Amazon businesses into clear, executable growth plans.
01 / CREATE THE FOUNDATION
Catalog, inventory, conversion, measurement, and launch readiness have to support the investment.
02 / BUILD INCREMENTAL DEMAND
Put budget behind new customers and durable business growth. Not simply the cheapest attributed sale.
03 / REALLOCATE AND COMPOUND
Measure what changed, redirect investment, and make every cycle smarter than the last.
Different brands. Different challenges. Same operating discipline.
Let’s build what’s next.
For brands that need experienced Amazon leadership, smarter operating systems, or someone who can bridge both.
